The other morning I received a phone call from Verne Langdon himself, requesting that I remove his music from this site. Apparently he did not appreciate the free publicity. I believe his words were, “I don’t need your help.” I should have known better, I mean, show of hands, who hasn’t heard of Verne Langdon?
Verne’s ego aside, this album is pretty cool. Too bad you can’t hear it.

This record is incredibly rare, and highly desired by those who know of it. There’s not much to be found on this mysterious composer, Nik Pascal [aka, aka] aside from what a few collectors of obscuro records are saying about him.

Probably one of the more free-form and experimental of the vinyl-only sessions I had in the days of FM, this was a live spontaneous mix, utilizing and layering up to a total of four turntables at any given time – plus a wee echo pedal on occasion.

A creepy mix to set the Halloween mood. From the spooky sounds of the Palace of Mystery Theatre Organ, to a witches brew concocted by Vincent Price, to Crispin Hellion Glover, to the Freakish Marcy doll, to a twisted Evangelical sermon on Satanic Forces and Spiritual Resources. Scary stuff indeed.
