Entertaining as a solo performer with just a guitar accompaniment at town halls, schools, fairs, and rodeos since 1931, Slim Clark is an authentic cowboy singer and top notch yodeler.

When you listen to this record, if you’re not awakening squint-eyed and melancholic to the Sunday afternoon sun, you just might yearn to be; Lana’s languid and lulling cowgirl crooning provides a sentimental comfort in the blues.

Homegrown Montana local J.R. Rummel is remembered as an accomplished artist, folk musician and influential western mythological folklorist. This raw original folk single presents an example of his contribution and legacy.
