Media Transfer / Analog to Digital Conversion -
If you are looking to convert your own collection I can perhaps offer some advice, otherwise I can offer the service of analog to digital audio transfers and preservation - revival of your vintage vinyl, or media/audio documents of any kind. I can record most analog formats [records (33, 45, 78 or 16 rpm), tapes, 8-track, reel to reel] and transfer the audio to a digital format (CD, DVD, or portable drive), or to other analog media for that matter. The album art can also be transferred or re-printed.
Legally, a backup copy is allowed the consumer of an audio document. I do not duplicate multiple hard copies of original work unless the rights are owned by the customer. (IANAL / TINLA)

Preserving Cultural & Family History -
Preservation of family history and unique audio documents, however low the fidelity, is of special interest. I can help you preserve, archive and put these gems into a presentable format to share with your friends and family. Complete packages including family photos, film and various media preservation can be made available on CD or DVD.

If you have any home recordings collecting dust in your closet or basement (even if it’s an unknown amateur practicing the violin), please take care of them and consider dusting them off and giving me a call. These sort of time-capsules help tell the story of our cultural heritage and should be preserved.
